since that "awesome 1 GB deal" from outpost doesn't seem to be shipping to Europe, I was wondering which memory type is the one to be looking for for my new PB17" 1.5GHz when browsing the stores?

apart from size which specs (DIMM, etc. etc.) will fit the bill?

search google for powerbook ram. macsales.com also have cheap 1gb rams chips.

I am using PNY in my 15" 1.5 PB and it works fine.

Check their website (pny.com) and use their configurator to see what is
compatible with yours. I think they have many international vendors.

thanks for the PNY tipp - went ahead and had a look around at the prices in Europe - they are all around �250 - �350 (not to mention the �700.- that you are asked for at the Apple store!! )
