Any of you play? It's PC only but I guess it's coming to (or is on now) the Xbox, too. I upgraded my PC at the beginning of Dec. and have been spending a lot of my freetime lately playing it. Just wondering if any of you play too.

i play. i'm at around 7000 points. i use anti-tank most of the time.
nothing quite like an automatic shotgun at close range to ruin someone's day.

Great game, but the console versions (Xbox, ps2) are a bit dumbed down.

Two earlier Battlefield games have been ported to the Mac, so I'm hoping this one will as well.

Can't wait. I badly need a new Power Mac. I run a dual 450 with an ATI Radeon. Tiger doesn't scream on it like I wish it would and it runs no games well beyond the last Star Trek one.

I used to play ALL THE TIME. Was on a CAL team and played weekly matches. It is fun, but I don't think it is as good as its predecessor bf1942/DC.

I just got Staff Sergeant over the weekend. At just over 6000 pts now (yes, I played a lot this weekend and got about 1500 pts). I unlocked the Spec Ops gun, though I still like my medic gun from Special forces (G36E).

I've found going around in a tank with a friend to be loads of fun when you're both engineers. Damn near invincible against anything but half a dozen AT guys.

No idea on a Mac version. I'm OK with my PC version at this point. I even set it to high settings on my low end specs and played just fine. Though I did start getting a slowdown on one map and sucked so bad that I'm just going to keep playing at medium just to avoid it.
