Is there a plug-in that makes it so when you click on the red button in the corner of the window it will quit the application? I am aware that with iPhoto, iMovie, and other iLife apps you can quit them by clicking the red button, but with others like Safari you can't. Bye the way, I do know how to quit applications.

Thanks,
Mason

No. That behavior is up to the developer. Why do you want to quit the app when you close the window? If you want to quit, just select Quit from the menu, or use the keyboard shortcut. That will close the window at the same time.

I already knew how to quit applications, I was just wandering if there was a way to quit apps with the red button.

Nope. There's also no way to quit them with the yellow or green buttons.

I hate it when apps quit with the close window widget. To me that's an unexpected quit.

Does the green button spawn a new instance of the app? Does the scroll bar renice it? WTF is going on here??

You can quit any app from the red button by simultaneously typing command-option-escape while you hit the red button.
