ok,

i loved warcraft 2 and was pretty good back in the day.

i got starcraft, and i suck at it. my buddy and i still can't figure out why we are so bad. but we love it and play all the time.

i've got warcraft iii, but haven't played too much because my 800mhz imac g4 can barely cut it.

i have age of empires 2, but haven't played much, because we are still into starcraft.

i love civ 3 and am looking forward to (FINALLY) getting the xpansion packs.

so here is the question? should i ask santa for the rise of nations game? i can't find a demo out there so i don't know if i'll like it? or should i get my $$$ worth out of the others first?

Yup. Great game, faster then Civ but can also be played more Civ like then RTS like using pause issue commands unpause.

RoN Gold is solid goodness. Get it. Play it. Love it.

oh and another cool fact. The developer (well mac porter) was awesome enough to send me a fresh copy of the CD because the one I got failed to work.
