I noticed that for some local commercials in my area, most of the quickie screen shots are the Mac OS. What's funny is that the commercials are generally for local colleges that don't have any Mac related classes!

Every local Comcast ad has some sort of iMac in it!

I have heard that term before, but what in blazes is a "Comcast?"
I too have noticed iMacs and iBooks in quite a few local commercials.

I guess this isn't actually related to "macs in the media", but it's worth mentioning. I noticed that Sears and Circuit City have started to carry Apple stuff. I think we're movin' on up! I hope this new Windoze XP thing flops hard.
Sorry, I'm a little off subject!

Comcast is a cable tv provider. They serve a lot of the east coast. I've noticed that there usually are macs in their commercials. Actually, there was just a comercial for Comcast@Home (cable modem service) and it featured at least one iMac and several screenshots from a mac.

Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?
