After installing 8.6 last night i cannot shut down because the switchres BG app will not quit. I have just tried to make it quit with an applescript and got a out of memory error. I have adjusted the size resource and will see if that help.. this may be related to apples warinigntha some apps will require more ram. Can anyone confirm?

I have increased the size resource from 64 to 128 and now it it allows it to quit normally... I still would like confirmation, and see if they problem is just configuration oddity on my system

I am a beta tester for SwitchRes and version 2.0 is about to be released. I'm runing it on my 8.6 system and it runs beautifully.

The incompatibility between 8.6 and SwitchRes 1.x is a known issue and will be fixed when version 2 comes out. Just to let you know, version 2 includes tons of great new features as well.
