Just wondering why we have ads at MacNN for PC spyware remover crap that is probably just a fake front for a virus/spyware/trojan/pop-up-ad-explosion thing. It kinda make you wonder who actually clicks on stuff like this?

on a sidenote, this is really fun!

I wondered about this a long time.
It's freakin' annoying.

The click-rate should suck, though

I got to 50 on my first try, but lost interest.

i had a poll a while back and about 50% of the users of macnn who responded had both a mac and a pc.

however, with knowledge of both platforms i would assume they arent stupid enough to click one of those lame ass popup ads. or would have the proper securities in place to prevent them from doing anything untoward to their computers.

yay. i got to use 'untoward' in a sentence today.

Wouldn't your service provider target the ads somewhat? Taking PC ads off a mac site rotation would be fairly basic targetting....?
