In the last few years of buying DVDs, some I've purchased have been widescreen, others full screen. Two weeks ago I bought a Toshiba HDTV. I'd like to trade my full screen DVDs for their widescreen counterparts. If anyone would be interested in such a trade let me know and I'll list all of my movies. Thanks.

Why on earth would you buy "full screen" DVDs to begin with. Looks like you'll be sitting up with'em.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Haha damn right! Nobody would want a full-screen DVD except young children with thick glasses

Some flicks I'll take full screen, but if it's a real favorite of mine I must have widescreen edition.
"Devil ether, it makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision. No balance. Numb Tongue. The mind recoills in horror. Unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interresting, because you can watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it"

I looked through all of my movies and only have two full screen. One was a gift and the other I don't know why I bought full screen. Jurassic Park 3 and Mummy Returns.

I got the 50", which is great for my basement. Anything larger wouldn't have fit in the space I have on my wall. The 57" is what I want but don't make enough money to get that kinda credit line for a TV.

Which is actually used somewhat extensively within media companies.

Same with 3/4 tapes... (most people don't even know they exist)

Guess everything has it's purpose.
