I just wanted to share this with you guys...who can spot a Mac on this image?

I love this band, it seems like they are up to something, hopefully a new album...maybe even a tour, but I don't want to let my imagination too loose. Their website contains this new image, whatever it means...let's all hope it is something good.
Here is the image:

Nice TiBook! Looks like a damn file folder its so small.

I am also a big fan. I've always admired them for using Macs too. I mean, imagine what The Fragile would've been like had they used PCs as part of their set!

Yep, and what do you think they used to make And All That Could Have Been?

...bingo

If I could only see one band live, in the rest of my life, it'd be NIN without a seconds hesitation.

Please... do Australia!

Just got a NIN shirt today, actually... and the DVD yesterday (I've been waiting for it since FEBRUARY... about freaking time... man, did I ever yell at the store manager).

Hmm, I wonder if they're mixing up something new there (probably) or if they're working out levels for a concert. Although Trent said he'd "never come back to Utah", which means the closest he'd come here is Denver now... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

I've never had the chance to see NIN live, but I've seen Tool 4 times, and they are by FAR my favorite live show. They also happen to be my favorite band in general, so that may sway my opinion of their live show a bit. But I haven't talked to anyone who's seen them live who said that they didn't rate it in their top 5. I hope to catch NIN on their next tour.

I dont want to be rude but this picture look so f---ing dull

i was a fan of NIN one day (about 10 years ago). They are not everything you know?

Bytheway, I though Mary Manson was NIN's major moneymaker by now.

Maralyin was Trents little project that he put under Nothing Records (trents label) and seeming that Maralyin has only come out with how many record compared to 18 plus (including singles) NIN is way stronger then Manson will ever be.

Concering the state that NIN is now with The Fragile and Things Falling Apart, they are going to step it up a notch back to a more hard core Downward Sprial and Pretty Hate Machine leve for the next installment from tapeworm, which BTW also has Maynard from tool also coloaborating with.

Meh, I'll probably be flamed for this, but I though his best work was on the Broken and Fixed albums. I lost interest after I heard The Downward Spiral.

the fragaile is good, some soft stuff that grows into a more abusive rock that we all know as NIN,

But agreed that Fixed and Broken are pretty good.

But what really gets me going it anything off of Pretty hate Machine some real hardcore music, also all of the remixes are great too.

Broken is my favorite NIN album, maybe even my favorite album of all time. Every single track is amazing. The Downward Spiral is great too. PHM has some great songs (Head like a Hole, Down In It, Terrible Lie, Sin, Something I can Never Have).

I've been a NIN fan since the beginning with Pretty Hate Machine when I was 10 years old. And everyone else at school was listening to New Kids on the Block, yuck.

I tell ya, that Trent Reznor like Japanese food. I keep spotting him at the Japanese restaurants in town. I even saw him at my favorite Japanese restaurant (Shogun) on my birthday with Clint Mansell (the guy that did the Pi and Requiem for a Dream sountracks, among other things)

and notice that entrance to these parties is free.

its not all about wattage its how you use it, an efficent loudspeaker, lets say 98 SPL will produce the same volume as a speaker that has 88 SPL and is powered by ten times the wattage.

So that being said, I only need 100 watts for my 98 SPL speaker wheres you need 1000 watts to get the same volume, its call efficentcy.

Also it means jack schit if the music coming out of the speakers is crap too

I wouldn't consider NIN industrial; Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, et. all are industrial.
