Lately i've noticed that my powerbook fan appears to be turning on faster than it used to. I was thinking that this might be because dust is collecting inside. has anyone had this problem and/or a solution?
p.s. it's a 1ghz cpu (ti)

OK. You have a serious problem. Go to the Genius Bar immediately. It will not improve and no you can't clean it. I have a newer PB and I know it will not improve. Do this before your warranty expires, although this is a TI model so I suspect it's already over. If all else fails PB-Fix-It sells new fans for reasonable prices.

Looking forward.

I reset my PMU on my 867 MHz 15" TiBook and the fan comes on much less frequently now. This wasn't the reason why I reset it (I was looking to extend the battery life), but it did affect the fan. For the fan problem, I was going to dismantle it and clean the dust out.
