I'm strongly considering this, as it'll give me the multi-tasking we all desire. The app to jail-break makes it ridiculously easy to do, and the process seems pretty straight forward. I'm seeing mixed results in terms of stability, but I assume it'll only get more stable as more of the Cydia-provided apps are updated to be iPad friendly.

Being able to stream Pandora and surf the web at the same time is reason enough for me, and that part of it seems to be working well enough as it is. I'm curious as to other owner's thoughts on this.

I haven't jail-broken either of my iPhones, though, I did unlock a friends so he could use it with t-mobile.

Thanks to the resounding silence, I went ahead and jailbroke my iPad last night. So far, so FREAKING AWESOME. Pandora + Safari + Meebo = win!

Yes & yes. It works, but I don't really have a use for it - I don't carry around my laptop anymore.

Here's what I'd do it for: access to the file system. However, the apps need to have knowledge of the file system to work, or I suppose I have to move files around manually.

I saw a chart (sorry, no link) that showed how well some popular apps work on the iPad. Sadly, some didn't work at all. I'm not convinced I should jailbreak yet.

The fact that backgrounder works was reason enough for me. I don't really need to be moving files around and the like, drop box suffices on that level for me.
