I'm curious as to what other users are using for input when playing games on their macs. I'm hoping that no one is using a might mouse for anything more than extreme solitaire. So, please list the games you play, the input devices you use, and your experiences with them. Thanks!

do alomost all of my gaming in boot camp, but i use:
MS intellimouse, i know its not a "gaming mouse" but it does the job, there no point getting anything too good cause i hate mouse mats and run the mouse on the desk surface and i think with anything too precise it would start to work against me.
also bought one of these when they came out, such good value for money as far as a good controller for a PC, £18 from play.com and also comes in handy now as ive bought an xbox so have a 2nd controller

About 2 years back I wore out one of the buttons on 2 Logitech mice in the $50 range in a matter of 3-4 months, ever since then I just buy the basic $20 optical MS mouse. So far the MS mice seem to last alot longer. Previously, I always used Logitech mice and they always lasted years.

i had the version down from this one (the 3 button) for.... 3 and half years, two of those it was used for laptop, so just got thrown in my rucksack everyday and taken to college. the only reason i moved up to the 5 button version was for COD4 so i had a grenade button on my mouse, the 3 button still works fine when it gets used almost 4 and a half years later. cant fault the MS mouses, better than that bloody mighty mouse, that never came out of the packaging for a year

Same situation and mouse here.
My MS Intellimouse Explorer is turning 10 years old this January, still works perfectly.

I use this guy right here. I also do most of my gaming via Bootcamp.

Belkin Nostromo 52 - now with cool blue light! A little hard to set up but saves you from smashing the hell out of your ASDWQEZC keys. I should say that I only used the Speedpad n52 but the new one certainly looks neat.

I just purchased this, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Hopefully I'll be able to control my character (playing WoW) with the under-thumb analog stick, freeing up my left hand for spell hotkeys.
