I use Photoshop. If you don't have Photoshop, you can use Snapshooter

Thanks for your reply Renshawboy.

I tried downloading Snapshooter but it doesn't seem to want to run on my Intel Mac. I thought even PPC only progs should be able to run on an Intel Mac?

You've got to run it under Rosetta. Click once on the Snapshooter icon to select it (you'll have to find it in Finder) and then his command+i, which will open a window labeled Snapshooter Info. Click the "Open Using Rosetta" box.

Currently backing up my MacBook to my Mac mini's connected USB HD.

Also mounted, the Mac mini's "Media Drive" with all my DVD's and my old iBook's HD which I am using as a temporary FireWire HD for storing my installers and stuff to make room on my MacBook's ever filling 250GB HD.

I've been playing around in DragThing lately to go for a more minimal desktop:

GUI: Leopard with the iTunes 7 scrollbars resource mod + Evaporation's progress bars (not visible).
Icons: IconFactory 200th set (grayscale mod) + misc. others
Wallpaper: "nuitglacee" by iTweek
Menubar: Meteorologist, DoorStop X, SMARTReporter, MenuMeters, MagiCal
Other apps: Path Finder, Cog and the regular OS X Stickies are open on the desktop.

Glad you like it. The dock icons are from The Kobhens set. I recolored them a bit, and used the included .psd file to create the stacks icons. I did use Candybar to apply them.

It's been one of those weeks where nothing looks right to me on my Mac lol. I sorta miss Tiger sometimes, I think I'll go a week or two without my stacks.

Okay, I'm pretty happy with how this came out.

Clean:

A little less clean:

I'm running CrystalClear. At first I didn't care for it but now that I've messed with the settings I think it looks alright.

Desktop: Nature's Composition by *tumb on deviantART

Crystal Clear @ Musings from Mars

Also running Yahoo Widgets for the iTunes remote (I hate switching spaces just to play with iTunes)

I did this with the dock. It was partly cheated, I had to make a black bar run along the bottom of the Desktop Picture. Is there a way i can hack the code to make the bar go higher and past the edges of the screen?

My triple-decker. I wish I'd taken the photo so that the tallest peak was in the center of the panorama instead of on the left; better next time, I guess.

The tabbed dock is the venerable DragThing; it's usually retracted, so just the tabs stick up.
