Hi All,

I have a choice of using the micro DVI to VGA or the micro DVI -> DVI cable.

I m using a Dell 19 inch monitor which has both connectors and dual input

Does it make any difference which one I use?

DVI->DVI means you use the digital signal. Quality-wise that's better. Using a DVI->VGA adapter means you use the analog signal that's on a couple of the DVI-I pins.

Thanks - In practise does this actually make much of a difference to the human eye?

I dont play games but use it for web e,ail browsing

Are you sure you want the *micro* DVI? That's for the MacBook Air only. *Mini* DVI is for regular MacBooks and iMacs.

And yes, digital will always look better. No ghosting, fuzziness, or weird artifacts around the edges. You should always use the highest quality interface you have cables for, and DVI is it.
