Hi! If anyone has a copy of avi2mov lying around on their machine I'd really appreciate it if you could send me a copy.
I've bought a new camera which produces mpeg4 avis which divx doctor II doesn't like and I wanted to try avi2mov but it seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet! I used to use it a lot but I never re-downloaded it after changing my machine!
Any other advice would be appreciated too. I've tried ffmpegx and converted the avi to an mpeg4 quicktime but the quality drops significantly. Am I right in thinking that this method is re-compressing an already compressed file hence the drop in quality? Is there any other way I could do it?
