Hey there

i currently have a Mac Pro and i just have purchased and new Western Digital 250gb drive

1. how do you make it so that it writes on both drives instead of the original drive?

and im thinking about getting another 500gb drive as a RAID. which would be better
2x 250 or 1x 500 for RAIDing?

Thanks alot!!!!!

C'mon, with 76 posts, you know better than to post a thread with a useless title like "Please Help!!!!!", as is explicitly prohibited in our rules.

Also, your sig isn't compliant, either.

As for your question, you can't RAID a single drive. With RAID, you must use drives of identical capacity, or your array will only use the capacity of the smallest drive. (For example, if you make a mirrored array with one 250GB and one 500GB drive, you get 250GB capacity. A striped array with the same drives would have 500GB [2x250GB] capacity, not 750GB.)

I suggest you read up on RAID a little bit more so you can more accurately ask your question, then post a new, properly-titled thread.
