Pebble Time is now available to buy in-store by non-Kickstarter backers. The second-generation of smartwatch can now be acquired in Best Buy stores in red, white, and black color options,
reports CNET, priced at $199. Target will also be selling the smartwatch through its retail and online stores, starting from August 17. A retail release date for the
Pebble Time Steel has yet to be confirmed.
Beats 1 to exclusively announce MTV VMA nominees later today
Apple Music has secured an exclusive
partnership with MTV for its always-on online radio station.
Cult of Mac reports that later today, at 10am ET (7am PDT) during the Beats 1 Chart Show, Brooke Reece and Travis Mills will be making announcements for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), with nominees for the various categories to be confirmed on air before anywhere else. Voting for the event will open one hour later via the event's
website.
