If I install OS X 10.2 on my old, unmodified Beige G3 266 with Apple Audio/Video RCA inputs/outputs on the back, will OS X 10.2 be able to use those RCA Audio/Video inputs/outputs?

Because if so, that would be great if I could use QuickTime Broadcaster with those RCA ports in 10.2 also.

Anyone played with these RCA jacks yet under 10.2?

Thank you very much,

DeepDish

Those things are as useless as can be so far. I haven't tried 10.2 yet but I'm guessing the A/V Personality Card is probably unsupported too. It was my only legit reason to boot into 9, to use that. I just got the XLR8 Interview though, so if Personality Car support comes, great. If not, no big deal. Given Apples feelings towads old systems though, don't hold your breath.

the audio out rca's work fine on mine... haven't tried, nor will i likely, the audio in or video ports. i would suspect though that if the audio is working then it follows the video might... though don't you have to have that video player app to use it?

Yeah try BTV, Apple Video Player hasn't been carbonized or anything, so shareware alternatives are pretty much the only options.

Could you let me know if it works in Jag for you?
