Don't know if anyone is even going to bother reading this, but I have to get it out of me.
I've been a Daredevil fan since I was in high school. Spidey, Batman, the X-Men, they're all great in their own ways, but no one ever did it for me like Ol' Hornhead. Maybe because his powers were so cool and original. Maybe because he had a snobby streak that appeals to me. Maybe because there's something so cerebral about him--being inside his head was so much more interesting than anyone else (all MHO, of course).
Anyway, I've been looking forward to a movie version for years. When I heard the writer/director was a lifelong fan who campaigned to do the film, I was pleased. When I heard Ben Affleck signed on, I was somewhat pleased -- he's a star, but Ben Affleck? -- then more pleased to learn that he's also a lifelong fan. This movie, good or bad, is going to be a labor of love; I have a feeling us fans are going to eat it up.
Anyway, the trailer. There's not a lot you can tell from it, naturally. I like DD's costume, Elektra looks hot, and Michael Clark Duncan will make an awesome Kingpin. Not sure if I like Bullseye's new look; it's all badass to be sure, but the simplicity of his comic costume appealed to me. The martial arts choreography looks fun, not quite wire-fu but definitely a little over the top. And I even like the brief glimpse of Affleck as Matt Murdock.
Here's what I really liked though. When I was reading him, Daredevil always had the best facial expressions, these intense grimaces as he concentrated his hyper-senses on some distant object or flung his billy club across the room. (The Daredevil action figure looks like it's pinching a loaf.) And there, right at the end of the trailer, you see this:

Ben Affleck gets it. All will be well.

That guy sucks, I'd call him worse but I'd get flamed for not being PC.
I'd much rather watch Daredevil in those old 80's Hulk movies where he was defending Bruce Banner.
But Afflek is a fag. <img border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" title="" src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" />

Costume looks fine though in my opinion, it does not look flexible enough. DareDevil is an acrobat and red tights (more like spiderman's without the pattern ect..) would have looked much more appropriate (and truer to the comic). Spidey didn't look silly in his movie costume. DareDevil producers should have hired the same costume designer.
