Dude,
Come on. Not another Aqua like theme. Please no. Is there no end to this torture. How many of themes nearly identical to these are out there? The majority unfortunately. Can a brother get some window title bar backgrounds with color? What about the dark themes? Where are new ones of those? Where are themes like the two that Xiap created before (ti-book, MX7)? Unique, dark yet with color. That's the real deal. I can dream a dream but now that dream is gone from me(Morpheus, The Matrix).
Peace,
TheZee

Good thing it's a white shiny theme... we hardly have enough of those out there. Bah... theming sucks.

You've got to do it Apple style and not upload the site updates until it's been announced.

To all you whiners, i've been pretty sick of plain white themes lately too. When I tested this theme for patcarla for a couple of weeks it was really nice though - the green gives it some eye catching pop while on the whole it's very usable. I know that's not what you want to hear, you want to see animations with widgets doing loops around windows, but if you want a usable theme check this one out. I know that's kind of a crowded area in theming, but it's damn close to the top.

and congrats on the site patcarla

Thanks Komisar for ruining the party

anyway...the themes will be available in a couple of hours..

And for all the whinners..
Yes it's plastic white, yes it's not highly original but yes it's highly usable..which was the goal of these two themes...

Please don't be upset about not tell people first. They are beautiful and well made! I'm using Xi-freshsnowM right now and I think it looks nearly as good as Max's Aluminum Alloy. Thanks you!

Yeah, the redesigned site looks beautiful!

And I like both themes, they are not only polished, but very usable. I'd rather have a theme that I can keep on using for long time and almost with any App, rather than a very spectacular one, which simply doesn't work for long periods of time or with certain software.

They look great!

In the vast sea of puke theming has been lately, these are pretty damn good. Nothing earth shattering but something quite usable.

These themes are so complete . All apps look marvelous . It seems so rare a new theme these daze gets so much work put into it. I am proud to be running one now . Thanks so very much Patcarla . I also have made a donation to hopefully keep this thing happening. If we all made this kind of gesture we would most likely see more new and stunning themes. So please ifn ya' can afford it throw a few Euros Xiaps way . Thanks again . I hope all is groovin with everyone.

Thanks guys for the nice comments

deej5871: I can't believe I missed this one.. will be fixed shortly

Brazil: thank you so much man..very much appreciated
(btw, I sent you a email to thank you but it seems that there is a delay problem..)

Komisar: no big deal dude..they are just themes after all ..but next time I
show you something not public, please let me do the announcement myself .

Anyway, I'm glad that some of you like the themes even though I'm a bit
surprised that the grey one is much more successful than the green variant..

Not bad...

The menu selections could use more contrast though... it's hard to see what you have selected... And I won't mention my pet peeve of no iChat buddy list window/chat window titles... from what I know, it's a limitaiton with ShapeShifter... so i'll let that one slide for now...

Any plans for more color variants?

actually if the metal windows just have brightness changes in the window title area, it's not too hard to fix... moderately time consuming, but as you can see by Neos it's possible. It works better for some themes than others, though.

I noticed that by applying the greencolored version of this new theme that VLC didn't get themed. So I went into the guikit and found the graphics that is used to theme VLC and looked in the path.txt file: If you have the same issues that VLC is not being themed then move VLC to "/Applications/Media Players/" or "Media players" and then move it back to it's original place.

It's the way Patcarla has organized his apps.

Or is VLC supposed to be themed regardless of the location ? Mine didn't.

Nice green theme! Very summery- even though it's soon fall.

Yeah, I'll work on the ichat title bar later. That is not top priority at the moment by I'm definitely aware of it.
Yes, color variant are indeed planned but not untill next SS/TP release

This location problem sounds strange to me..
May be smeger could answer this one

Yeah, I have that sometimes too in safari.. Don't know why
The only way I found to get around this is to relaunch safari.
It seems that sometimes all the elements wouldn't load..another question for Jason..

Happens here too, and I have the impression it's after switching from a guiKit without Safari skin to a skinned one. I usually reapply the theme or better yet launch out/in like the book says.

Yeah, Log out/in after applying a theme is the best way to avoid bugs like that.

This is caused by a bug in ShapeShifter 1.2 (actually, it's a bug in ThemePark 1.3). SS 1.3 and TP 1.4 fix it.
