There's a serious warning about that in ThemePark, once you reach the scroll bar listing. As a novice, I don't quite understand it yet, but it's about transparant images. Sure a themer as yourself must be able to fix it, because now... it's like... a bit of a bummer.

Good luck, and thanks for listening.
I haven't touched them yet. Carbon might have forgotten them? What colours is it doing this in?

All except blue. I believe the original theme behaved the same.

I just installed the beta and then used SafarIcon to add SimpleX Blue for the buttons and it's so nice. One issue, not sure if mentioned before, small blue push buttons seem to have a bad left end cap. Need an example? Open SafarIcon and click on the preferences pane.

Well I think my watercolor days are over, I'm finding it harder and harder to look at it. I think I've put my little something into the project, it sucks because it'd nice to get it finished. Sorry guys

Here is Beta 2 and the changes made are...

- Changed Menu Extras slightly
- Added Silver Finder Buttons
- Added Silver Metal Buttons
- Fixed Scroller End Caps
- Added Olive Finder Buttons

Watercolor Beta 2
Watercolor Themepark File

Hopefully somebody with passion for the theme will take over and make it even better.

Job well done, thumbs up mac15.
Besides perhaps a few refinements that I still have to come across, I think what most users would like are app skins. Am I right ?

regarding the Safari theme; Could you not open the Finder.rsrc or Extras.rsrc and copy out the Finder back and forward buttons and then use those in either SafarIcon or use GuiKitty to open the guikit and paste them in there ? Alot of work. But maybe it's worth it for the time being?

I wouldn't do it though - too much work

@mac15, it's nice to see that you took the assignment of doing this. Could you locate the Watercolor desktop pictures and include them aswell ? You know, those with boxes at either the right or left hand side just like the Finder titlebar? And maybe include that colorful desktop picture aswell. I'll see if I have any of these images but I doubt it since I managed not to copy everything over when formatting my Windows PC.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but what's the latest progress on the Panther update? I just had a sudden want to use watercolor again, but the version I have has no Safari skin... Is this project still active?

Beggars can't be choosers, but we can ask. What about a complete AppSkin suite for this theme, a la Siro. There's nothing worse than using a sweet theme, then beeing jarred back into Aqua when you open Address Book or iTunes.

AAgreed. This was always one of my most favoritest custom themes, and well, the one from the first page that works with ShapeShifter has a lot of ugly bugs. I want to see the new one, and no damn way am I using something other than ShapeShifter. So I hope someone is still working on this.

I like the Red one. And I really hope to see it more.

For now I'm stuck to Cappuccino or Aluminum Alloy Orange. And both are showing some signs of uglyness as well. Please port this!
