Last week was terrible for gofridge. gofridge witnessed the evil Green Bay Packers decimate the Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles tie the Cincinnati Bengals because Eagles starting quarterback Donovan McNabb did not know that NFL games could end in ties.

gofridge was so sad that gofridge almost could not eat. gofridge could eat, of course. gofridge is gofridge, after all.

This week has been much better for gofridge. On Sunday the Bears easily defeated the Rams and the Saints decimated the evil Packers in a way similar to how the evil ones did it to the Bears the week before. And on Thursday, not only did gofridge eat lots and lots of turkey and other Thanksgiving foods, but gofridge also witnessed the Eagles make the first place Arizona Cardinals look like the winless Detroit Lions.

If not for the Eagles playing so poorly on Sunday against the Ravens that Donovan McNabb was benched half-way through the game, this would be a perfect week for gofridge.

gofridge will celebrate by eating. gofridge never needs a reason to eat, but gofridge sometimes gives reasons anyway.

gofridge sees that goturtle is still depressed over the evil ones losing on Sunday.

gofridge still does not understand why some people root for evil. Don't they know that evil is bad?

goturtle knows that we are currently in a bear market.

This will, however, change.

America's long-term perspective is green

It was an especially good game last time when the Packers decimated the Bears. Why especially? Because I knew gofridge would be watching that game too
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

gofridge agrees that the future is green, but gofridge does not think that the answer to going green is going yellow.

gofridge wants to fly like an eagle.

And gofridge hates purple almost as much as gofridge hates yellow.
