With iTunes 7 and the new iTunes Store, preview and purchase high-quality hit movies plus new and classic games designed exclusively for the Fifth Generation iPod. Flip through your collection by album cover with Cover Flow, protect your iTunes library by backing up to CDs or DVDs, and much more.

iTunes 7.0.2 adds support for the Second Generation iPod shuffle and addresses a variety of stability and performance issues found in iTunes 7 and 7.0.1.

Downloaded, installed and interestingly enough when I opened my itunes music store it brought me to what I believe was the german itunes music store (and I'm in the US). I had to sign into my iTunes account to get back to the US store. It was very strange, anyone else have this issue.

Yep. Mine took me to the Japanese iTunes Store. No movies or TV - only music and Pixar Short Films.

I read there was a server update that caused this issue. The only relation to 7.0.2 is timing.

Has anyone gotten AquaT to work on 7.0.2? I get an error. I still cannot stomach the v7 UI.

I don't know, but AguaT was just updated today, it's on Versiontracker. I use Aqua4iTunes, which has not been updated. Anybody know if 7.0.2 will break it?

Very odd. My wife downloaded this iTunes update and got the Japanese iTunes
store on her machine. She had to do as the original poster did and re-sign into
her itunes account.

Mine was just fine, very odd to be sure.

You can switch stores at the bottom of the main page. No need to log into anything.

Hi -

I've just updated to 7.0.2 and have discovered that a proportion of my (legit and purchased) tracks are no longer authorised to me.

I'll add my username and password and iTunes will confirm a successful authorisation, but the tracks still won't play.

Anyone else having this problem? And is there owt I can do about it?

Well I've noticed at least 1 visible new feature of iTunes 7.0.2:

In the Window menu, we now have back official keyboard shortcuts to activate the iTunes (Cmd+Opt+1) and Equalizer(Cmd+Opt+2) windows! These were missing in previous 7.X.X releases as people were told to add them manually via System Prefs. How nice of Apple to listen to the outcry and add back these handy key combos.

Smooth upgrade for me; though so was 6.x.x>7.0.0 for me. Any thing else new in 7.0.2?? Would it positively kill Apple to be a little verbose in its release notes for a change?! I never get why hide all the bugs they squashed....
