Hey gang,

I have two incase sleeves here that I'd like to sell or trade.

(1• 15'' Black neoprene incase sleeve. This is the black one that has the green insides. I like these, but they scare me a little bit when I'm carrying the computer loose in the sleeve. I would like something a little more structurally stable to wield my MacBook in. I don't always have a backpack or something like that to put my computer in. I'm looking to get the nylon one like the one below but in 15''.

(2• 13'' Nylon sleeve plus by incase. This thing is nearly brand spanking new. I used it for about 1 month sparingly when I had my white MacBook. I have since sold the MacBook and I kept the case. I would keep it because it was a gift from my lady friend, but I no longer have a 13'' machine. I can't use it and I hate to see it sit not being used. I also have to shoulder strap for this.

One of the rings that the strap connects to cracked on me, that's the only flaw with this case, nothing else is wrong.

I'm really up for anything. I'll consider all offers. I'd like to get the nylon sleeve plus 15'' incase if at all possible. I like the 13'' one I have, so I think it'd fit my MacBook Pro perfectly.

These prices are negotiable.

Nylon 13"- $35
Neoprene 15''- $21
Together - $55shipped.
Everything includes shipping and packing materials w/ tracking.

Thanks!

Why would someone pay $210 for a USB-only drive when they can get one with USB, FW400, and eSATA for $200 from the links you provided?

Shipping fees and packing materials. I have to securely ship this in good packing materials so the hard drive isn't damaged. It'll cost me more to ship it than what I'm asking for shipping. I asked for the fairest price I could think of since I paid 209 for this after tax. I'm willing to negotiate prices for people that are seriously interested.

It is against paypal TOS to include paypal fees in any selling price; even though not against any MacNN rules, it is highly discouraged.

I'm selling it for what it was bought for at retail, you're practically getting free shipping. If you guy's aren't happy with the reasonable price then make a counter offer.

Thanks

Ok. Seriously.

He stated a clear asking price.

If the price is wrong, then don't buy it. Simple as that.

Ghostshadow: why not just buy a different enclosure that you like better? That drive is just a regular Seagate 3.5" HDD inside a plastic case...
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Because I just spent 200 on this drive and I don't want to spend more money for an enclosure, or open it and void the 5 year warranty .

I'd just assume sell it and then buy one of the others.

May I ask why these were merged ? These are two seperate threads and they have no relation to each other.

1) One post for multiple items. We don't need a new thread for each thing you are posting here. If it's a ton of stuff, post a general idea. Also, this means there is a limit to one active thread per poster, and one thread that appears on the first page.

http://forums.macnn.com/marketplace/...lines-updated/

If you read forum rules/ T.O.S you wouldn't get hassled. I'm sure of this.

Then why isn't the thread title updated as well, people think this thread is about a hard drive, they will not know it contains sleeves as well. I find this rather cluttered and I've never had this problem before. There are / were several other people that have multiple threads as well because they are selling two different items. I feel that potential buyers will not look at this thread if they are looking for sleeves. Especially with the title the thread it titled.

I also posted these threads one week apart from each other, they have no tie with each other, if I was trying to post a whole bunch of stuff for sale I would understand, but I am selling a hard drive and 2 sleeves. I don't feel they should have been merge.

Do as you will, you guy's have the final say so.

Seagate drive has been sold!!! Both incase sleeves are still for sale. Could a mod edit the topic of this thread to indicate it is now only for the two incase sleeves.

Thanks all!

Right now I'm mostly looking for a Nylon sleeve plus in 15'', or something similar for 15'' MBP. I no longer have a MacBook, so the nylon I have won't fit. I don't care much for the neoprene sleeves when carrying the laptop by itself. So I guess any 15'' case / sleeve. I'm open to odd offers of anything really. Haha.
