It seems that Apple are doing a lot of silent updates in the run up to WWDC. The latest? Much-wanted display upgrades for unibody MacBooks.

Sweet!
"Apple has secretly updated the screens on recent MacBooks to a significantly higher quality. One very similar to, if not the exact same as, the more expensive MacBook Air."

From the demo units I've seen so far, though, the MacBook Air got a significantly WORSE screen than the original version had.

ah, well. life. i am happy with my aluminum macbook, but, sure, wish it had a better-quality screen.
am waiting to see what the next revision brings; should have the better screen, more power, hd space, etc.

Ugh I just bought my Unibody MacBook a few month ago. Bought it shortly after they were first released... I wonder if it is worth calling Apple about to see if they can do anything for me...

I've heard great stories of customer service reps really helping people.
I think it depends on who you get and your attitude.
