Hey guys
Im trying to open a MacBinary encoded file
The icon on the file is the stuffit logo but it is kinda grey
When I try and open it with my StuffIt Expander, it looks like it is doing something but nothing opens.
I got this file from a co-worker who says it is a bin/cue file for a pc....Any ideas on how I can get it open and playing on my Mac?

video file?? what are you talking about??

BIN/CUE files for PC are similar to Mac DMG files in that they are disk images. You'll need to either mount it or burn it to CD. Toast can burn BIN/CUE images. I'm not sure if it can mount them though, and dunno of any program than can mount BIN image files.

madmacgames,

You're right, of course - it's a disc image format - AFAIK, mostly commonly used on the PC platform to create disk images of video files (VCD etc.) I jumped the gun here since I had never seen them used for anything else.

If I remember correctly, Toast 6 knows how to handle these properly.

Btw, did you know that the tone in your post sounds quite rude? Sorta makes you look like a schmuck.
