Hendricks dyes her hair; she's really a blonde. I'm sure she'd be happy going brunette for a WW role.

I didn't mean success for the film, I meant success for the box office.

Wow, it paved the way for other irrelevant shows I have no interest in.
(I actually respect Buffy, but would anyone have given a shit about Dark Angel if hadn't featured Alba?)

I have a feeling she'll make an unattractive brunette.

It has GOT to be Erica Durance. Looks the part, can kick some ass, is in shape, right age and has shown she can play a tough character without losing that sensitivity and femininity. Perfect fit!

Erica is an interesting possiblity, especially since Smallville is almost finished and she is well liked by Smallville fans (unlike the poor Kristin Kreuk). The fact that she carries the comedy of the show all by herself, when Hollywood generally doesn't regard female comedy as a bankable thing, really speaks to her potential.

I don't see Wonder Woman as needing much comedy flair... (but then Michael Keaton as Batman surprised me). I don't watch Smallville, but she looks like she's playing dressup. How early are they going with this origin story???

And the answer is: Adrienne Palicki. For the TV version, anyway.
I pretty good choice from what I can see, although I don't know how I feel about a primetime network Wonder Woman. As with any show, it will all come down to the writing (for the record, no one will ever replace Linda Carter in my book).

Man, we can't even agree on which hair color she looks better in.
(This means there won't be a movie, right?)

Yeah, she's an amazon, alright. A few intense months in the gym and she'll be set.

Holy crap that looks BAD. Really bad. Everything about it is terrible.
They did one thing right: silver bracelets. But....
If you're gonna dump the star-spangled granny panties, go with black pants, like the recent re-design.
And red boots, not blue!
Give her a real belt, or just make the bottom of the bodice a gold seam. Don't do it halfway like this.
Get rid of the eagle, it's too busy, especially with the star in the talons. Use a stylized W shape like some cartoons did.
Get rid of all the stars, with a single one in the tiara.
The shiny vinyl look is the worst part of it.
And for gawd's sake: smush her boobs together so it doesn't look like I can land the invisible jet between them.
Incidentally, that doesn't look like a real costume, it looks like Photoshop.

Even better: design the top so she doesn't fall out of it.
Sorry guys, but I just don't see anyone fighting crime in that.

They should have just copied the comic
Its likely DC put a lot of time into the design before they settled on the current costume.
They know the audience better than the film studios. Kudos on the bombshell bra portion of Palicki's costume but the rest of it, particularly the colors, is comedic.

That makes her look less like a Halloween costume from SkanksRUs, true. Which is of course where the wrestling chicks shop.

The upturned tiara looks good.
I wonder why they turned it upside down in the new costume.
For the colours, the 2nd P'shopped version does seem like a good idea, at least for the reds. Not as candy cane, and the boots are nicely contrasted from the pants.

They didn't invert the tiara, they used a different kind of head decoration-the circlet with a lowered decoration in the middle has been a popular costume piece for quite some time. And didn't the comic art have a string of variations in pieces of her costume? I seem to remember a number of different crown-thingies in the artwork...

Meh. I prefer it to be much, much smaller. Size-wise, the new tv design is great. The newest comic design is too skinny.

It's weird, if this thing hadn't been carried by major sites, I would've assumed it was a crap wannabe/photoshop job. It looks like something a really high budget porn would use.

It is an improvement; she's still risking a wardrobe malfunction, but I like the darker pants and sensible boots. Her expressions in the other photos also say, "I am serious here folks."

Raise your hand if you want them to include the outtakes on the disc release.

NBC rejects 'Wonder Woman'
NBC passed on the much buzzed-about Wonder Woman pilot from David E. Kelley and Warner Bros. TV.
NBC isn’t saying for now but scuttlebutt reveals the pilot earned mixed reviews at test screenings.

Dear lord, she is a good choice.
I hope WB is working on another WW concept. Hopefully one where WW isn't a Tony Stark ripoff like the TV show planned to do.

Yeah, and the costume design made it completely obvious. Is this the message WW is supposed to send to young girls?
Myself, I think long legs is much more important than a big rack for WW. Plus, the costume shouldn't be skin-tight, but have some depth and texture to it, which would make a flatter actress look bigger than she is. You can fake a rack, you can't fake legs.
