Logitech has announced their new laser-based mouse, which they've dubbed MX1000 . It's an RF mouse that comes with a rechargeable base-station that also functions as the mouse's RF receiver. I wouldn't bind picking one of these up for use on my iMac, but my question is can I use it with my PB? Toting around that base-station is something I'm not willing to do. Does anyone know / think that a generic or otherwise RF USB dongle would work with the mouse and act as the RF receiver for my PB instead of using that base-station?

There is already a thread about the MX-1000 But no, you need the cradle/transmitter to use it. It is not Bluetooth so a USB BT adapter won't work.
