I have some old memory laying around and I'm getting a used G3 iBook. I have two SODIMMs marked 256mb 1RX16 PC2-5300S-555-12.

Does anybody think these will work in the iBook?

Thanks in advance

G3 iBooks use PC100 SDRAM... which is probably getting harder and harder to find these days (definitely NOT what you have there).
15" MBP, 2.33 GHz C2D, 120GB HD, 2 GB RAM, OS X 10.4. 4GB iPod Nano.

No. No way. No chance.

It won't even physically fit in the slot.

It was the prettiest iBook by far though.
