I've searched the forums (found nothing really) and searched the web (found a few sites) for repair information, but I was curious if anyone has had any experiences with any companies in particular. My PB is definitely showing it's age, cracked plastic, broken off shift key, bent bottom case, cracked screen hinges, couple missing screws, broken battery latch, DVD/CD drive doesn't work, and weird colored lines through my display. Has anyone used PowerBookTech.com or the PowerBook Guy? Any other repair places you'd recommend?

Hi, my name is Luke and I am the owner of PowerBook FixIt, a reliable source of Apple PowerBook parts and service.

We've recently launched an online store with many PowerBook parts. You didn't mention which PowerBook model you have, but we have parts for most PowerBook G3 and G4 laptops. If you'd like to see customer testimonials, you can look at my eBay feedback (which is almost all from PowerBooks) here:
http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...powerbookfixit

If you're interested, you can visit our website at www.pbfixit.com, or email me at [email protected].

Good luck getting your PowerBook fixed and please let me know if I can be of service in any way.

Luke

Thanks for the info. I have a G4/500 if that helps anybody else out with feedback. Love it, but man, it's worked.
