On a 15" TiBook I have horizontal marks on the screen where the keyboard contacts the screen. I have tried many things to get rid of these marks but none have worked so far. My most recent try is iKlear to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

saw this on the homepage:

i've seen peeps try cloth to fix the problem though I haven't experienced it since my iBook. (not on my PB). BUT I do have an annoying gap when the PB is closed. Maybe the lesser of 2 evils?

The marks on the screen are caused by oil and grime transferred from fingers to screen via the keyboard. iKlear or any regular eyeglass spray plus *gentle* buffing using a lens polish cloth will remove most of the marks. You might have to be persistent and buff *gently* for a few minutes to get rid of grime that has set in.

If that doesn't work, my guess is that you might have left the dirty screen uncleaned for so long that the oils/grime have etched the LCD. Unfortunately, I don't know of anything for etched/scratched LCD screens.

Thanks. I will keep polishing and hope the screen is not etched.

Check out Radtech's offerings as well. Great protection.
