I am in the market for a new screen. Any recommendations on where to buy one?

Also, can I get a 13" matte screen instead of the glossy one?

Best bet is to get the make and model from the back of your panel and google for one. They are pretty cheap these days, you will likely find one on eBay if nowhere else.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

I bought a matte screen off of eBay last night for $82.00. It should arrive on Tuesday. Then the surgery begins...

Er, when you say it "broke", what do you mean? Something I should worry about or just avoid dropping it (done that before).

I did an LCD replace on a MacBook before... it was a pain in the ass. If I had to do it again, I'd send it out.

Anyway... I bought a matte on off ebay.. and you know what? The cable to the inverter was too short! Basically, I ended up going to Fry's electronics, buying some shrink tubing... cut the other cable off the old LCD and cut the one off the LCD and shrink tubed them together

Tech Restore installs replacement displays including a matte option for 13" and 15" MBPs. The cost is $200 or $269 if the display glass is shattered. 24-hour turnaround and return shipping is included in the price.
