Would like to add a new CD R/RW to our Quadra
650 so also will need to purchase a new larger SCSI Hard Drive.

Has anyone worked around the max HD limitations of OS 7x?

If not then what is the max HD size that can be used with the largest number of paartitions?

Thanks!

With System 7.x, the maximum partition size is 2 GB. I'm not sure what the maximum number of partitions is, though I'm sure you can have at least 8.

I don't believe there is ANY size limit on the hard drive itself. You'll just have to partition the drive into 2 GB partitions I believe.
