Well, it's irrelevant to you since they're not available in Canada anyways.

P.S. I wonder if this extra thread is going to get lockinated...

i used to feel rebelious when I was using a mac in 2006. And OS X 10.0 was our holy grail. now apple is just a mainstream, bland, intel-ized, selling gadgets that you have to renew every 2 years to high school kids. a company that has a quite-unhealthy relationship with a communication giant (Disney)...

SIGH

apple LOST the cool tag.

Are you going to sell any Mac you currently have? Or not purchase new ones?

Or get a PowerPC sig like whats-his-face?

Apple grew up. Doesn't mean it's a bad company. It's just more mature. Which means more stability for us.

Unfortunately, it's not up to Apple to decide this. The movie studios have to authorize Apple to do this, so stop with the Apple bashing. It's gets old.

I think it's a good start, I'm more disappointed that there isn't more information on the media box they are going to be releasing. Will I be able to convert my DVDs to watch on the thing? Obviously Apple can't provide that, but it doesn't mean Apple must shut it off.

Yea, but Apple started with what....like five TV shows? And one of them was that 'You're So Raven' kids show. But it's gotten better. Same with the movies. Give it time.

I actually like Disney... I just wish the movies were 720p IMHO, that would have blown my sox off.

I think there prices are too high. $5.00 - $8.00 should be the price range for these less-than-full quality movies.

I'm sure you could use handbrake to convert your DVD to mp4 and it would work. I'm not sure why you'd do that if you could just stick the DVD in the DVD player.

No I think ambush has some points. iTunes is seriously bloated. It's basically a marginally more intuitive version of WMP.

I do like the new scroll bars, but that's about it.

Pff, I hate this bloated bla bla sh!t.

You can play songs from the terminal, if you don't like the GUI and teh features.
