@ don't want to waste anyone's time, but picked up a used game that can't get installed = the Redneck Rampage CD loads into the iMac 350 [OS 9.2.2] + the menu comes onto the screen ----> when try to install get this Mac Message [the red-color stop sign w/ open-hand]: "The application 'Redneck Installer' has quit unexpectedly, possibly because the server that contains it has been disconnected."

@ of course haven't any idea what the message means nor what to do ? ? ? ?

try booting with extensions disabled and then installing.

There's someone in my head but its not me...

Also, try posting your question in the Forums at Insidemacgames.com and macgamer.com. That'll increase your chances of finding a solution.

But first, definitely reboot with extensions off and try installing the game.
