Hi folks,

So I have a USB iSub, great sub woofer, but don't need or want to use it on my powermac any longer. Thanks to griffin's iFire, I can use my pro speakers with my iPod in my living room, but I'd like to use my iSub too. Has anyone done a mod to a USB iSub changing the USB to a standard audio jack? Or does an adaptor like the iFire exist? I didn't find anything while searching, and am not holding out if griffin didn't produce one. I think a mod, if possible, is the way to go. I know harmon karmon now sells the iSub and satellite speakers with a regular jack, so I'm hoping a mod would not be too difficult.

Well you'd just have to figure out where the USB audio circuitry ends and the audio amplifier's inputs start.

Frankly, more work than it's worth!
