I've got the same ram as you, mine's a 1Ghz. There's a thread in here actually with a config file someone posted from their ibook which is a good place to start in setting some stuff right to get it nice and playable. It does require a bit of knowing what you're doing with the settings. Ut2k4 runs great on its own.

Its a fast litle machine you have there, with plenty of RAM but one bottleneck - the video card.

Not that its not a good video card, the ATI Rage 9200 mobility (32MB) is excellent, but it wont handle the latest 3d shooters well.

Having said that, I have the 14" 1.33ghz model (same video card) and the following recent games run well on it.

- Command & Conquer Generals
- Civilization III
- Warcraft III
- World of Warcraft

Go to www.aspyr.com (the largest games publisher for mac) and look at some of the games and their RECOMMENDED specs rather than their MINIMUM specs. If you meet the recommended, it will run fine.
MacBook Alu, 13", 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM, 256MB video
G5 Imac, 17", 1.9Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, 128MB video, built in isight, airport and bluetooth
Indigo iBook, 366mhz; 320MB RAM; CD; FW; Airport

Rise of Nations Gold runs quite well. Of course the old standby of Neverwinter Nights.

Installed Doom 3 on my 800 Mhz G4 iBook for a laugh. Shockingly, it was playable... at least until you had to start shooting uglies. Then the framerates fell off the edge of the earth.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
