I just finished downloading Maya PLE from my iDisk. I can't wait to see what can be done with it

I thought it was okay, but the watermarks in every damn window made me ditch it after a day or so. Work pays for Maya (though it's on a PC), so I'll stick with that for now. It's good to see stuff like this brought to Mac though, and even better that it's being made available as a trial.

You're right about the watermarks--it's more like ink marks. Why do they have to be so god awful obtrusive?

I consistently get an error during install, involving a file called "planksPassive.mpg".
