25GB on one single-layer disk or 50GB on a dual layer disk... cool...

So a 2x BD is around 6X DVD-R speed, that is pretty sweet, but yeah ill wait till they are around $200 or so...

So with a 2x writer it takes about 2 hours to burn one 50 GB disk?

Just wondering- if you have two optical drives on the Mac Pro and you hit the eject key on the keyboard, do both the drives trays slide out?

What if there is no media inside either one and you only want one of them to eject? Or what if the one you want to eject is empty and dont want the one with the media ejected? Can we do that?

Eject key opens one drive, Option+Eject opens the other.
