I am trying to set up my Powerbook with a Airport wireless card to do a peer-to-peer with a Windows XP laptop which also has a wireless network card installed.
I was able to see the shared folders on the Windows Machine from the Mac but from the Win laptop we can not connect to the admin login on the Mac laptop. I can create a admin or standard login on the Mac and can log in just fine but I want to share files and folders on the Root admin login.
also, to share files on the Mac I know I could copy files to the Shared and Public folders but can I take any folder and share it like you can in Windows?
I guess I need a crash course in file sharing. Help me out guys and gals
