is there any easy way to syncronize the entourage database between two machines? what i want to do is take my laptop on the road, check email, add contacts and appointments, and then sync it with my desktop machine when i return, without the possibility of losing updates added on either machine.
can this be done?

Not exactly syncing, but what you could do is copy the Microsoft User Data folder from your desktop to your laptop, and then when you get back from the road, copy the updated MUD folder from the laptop back to the desktop (replacing its existing folder).
