I love you! Awesome!

What chat program are you using in the screenshot? Is that Adium 2?

Whoa, that's really bizarre. That definitely is not occurring for me. Does it only look bad when the Finder window is in the background (as in your screenshot) or also when it is in the foreground?

Also, what version of ShapeShifter are you running? Are others seeing this? I have a private beta of SS installed and have not come across this issue.

Thanks

it looks like that in the back ground as well as in the foreground, I am running version 1.0.1 of SS and version 1.4 of APE

Great theme Carbon. Thanks for the update.

How did you achieve the flat shadowless look in that fullscreen snapshot?

I've got WindowShadeX running w/ window shadows set to the "subtle" preset and DeskShade Plus running to hide the menubar drop shadow.

What is making the menu dropshadows look so nice/shallow? Or is that a feature of the theme??

Edit: nevermind

Nice. But I see in your preview and pics a rectangular pattern behind finder window widgets, and all I can get is that odd trapezoid background. I would like the rectangle. How do I obtain it?

Uh, well brushed metals should have the rectangular widget box while aqua windows should take the FatalE 45 widget box.

i love this theme, but is it just me, or does it seem like the colors on the scroll bars should be reversed? I keep wanting to drag from wrong area. Or maybe a little "handle" graphic in the middle or something

I just noticed that on every menu, the active elements are the same color as the inactive (I mean, they all are black), is it how it is meant to be?

Interesting... nice find. Definitely not intentional, and it makes me wonder how long FatalE was been that way... I don't recall touching text colors when doing the Panther update. I bet they got "broke" when the .tpark file was converted for Panther compatibility.

Either way, I'll work on the update for that soon. Thank you for the heads up.

Have you ever thought about doing a light blue variation? I think that would look mighty fine...

There's still a bug in there from older versions. The butted bevel button is still the Watercolor style (I'm guessing FatalE is built on top of Watercolor, right Carbon?), thus it is not grayscale. Example:

It's very hard to see, and that's why I didn't notice it until now, otherwise I would've told you before you got the 1.1b out the door

Very nice theme. Do you know if this is based off of the computer interfaces in Minority Report? The shapes look very much like those of the windows in that movie (with one corner cut off)
