No, it's what they say when they want to play moderator...bad poster, bad post, bad, bad, bad...don't make me roll up my newspaper!!! Meanwhile, they will continue to read the new posts here, repeatedly mistaking their refresh button for their back button and thinking that "Longest Thread Ever" really means "CLICK ME NOW."

Which is the point of this thread in the first place.

Well we know what you all do when you want to make a thread but have nothing to say.

Regardless, I have something to say now. After reading the thread, it seems as though it is recess time over at Spymac, and all the little third graders are running around our fine college campus doing third grade activities. . .

That makes more sense. Its just like at the other place then.

Thanks for clearing that up ringo.

Im sorry you feel you have to express your superiority here, no one is looking to get into an argument. Try and keep the unsubstantiated bashing to a minimum please.

Any particular reason for your hostility? If you are the owner of this forum and you dislike what we're doing here, by all means, we will stop. But, of course, the owner of this forum wouldn't be so hostile to new members.

I find the insinuation that the other forum is childish to be patently false. I have seem exactly the same level of immaturity here from macnn users that I see from regulars over there.

Why do you feel so threatened by this? you're getting to know us and we aren't bombing any other threads.

Beers, bears, whatever. I've found the gang at over there to be less than discriminating in certain matters. And highly discriminating in others...

And the discussions about hard disks can take on a frightful meaning...

What the heck are you talking about? I was trying to kill this stupid post count thread as quickly as possible. Besides, If I cared about my post count that much, I would have bitched to an admin and got my 600 posts that were lost added onto the count.

Is it a meaningless post count thread? It seems you guys have had an opportunity to get to know us here, and us you. Why would you want to kill something that keeps the crap out of other threads and serves a peaceful purpose?

At the other place, I have been voted defacto queen of the LTE, and I therefore feel qualified to defend it.

To me, the LTE is like a Massively Multiple Stream of Conciousness story.

You get some amazingly complex conversations going, and they change direction really fast. A normal thread can't handle something like that because it goes off topic so fast.

RINGO, my friend... actually, my accent only comes out when I am overtired or less than sober. I sound nothing like Kennedys, though. I sound more like that friend of Matt Damon's in Good WIll: "My boy dayh's wickid smaaaaht..."
