I wanna hack my Xbox S controller to USB so I can use it with my Mac. Would this be possible? Not just the hacking, but the actual gamepad. Anyone tried this?

This might help a bit... it's the hardware side, on SW, I'd think that USB Overdrive is your friend

Cool link. When I turned my Xbox cable into a PC controller I ended up doing it a bit more ghetto and ended up just purchasing an extra extension cable and chopping the end off one of those and splicing it together with the USB cable. The method used in that link you posted is a lot better looking IMO.

The XBox controller hurts me. I consider it the poorest designed controller of any video game system. It's so big. And it's so hard to find the buttons you want to push.
Now the PS2 controller... perfection.

The PS1 and PS2 controllers never had enough for me to grab onto...the Xbox standard controller is a bit big; the black and white buttons are out of reach. However, the Xbox S controller is superb.

Will one of those XBOX controllers work for general mousing around in OSX, that'd be good for presentations and in general, using my mac from afar, it would be interesting for CouchMaccing with a huge TV and/or a projector.
