Help! I can't delete MS Office for Macintosh OSX because the DLLs are "locked." I even tried shredding the files with ShredIt but all that did was change some of the file names and the DLLs are still intact. Does anyone know how to "unlock" these "wonderful" MS DLL files so that I can delete everything? Thanks.

In the Finder, get info on the files in question, and un-check "Locked".

Please describe in detail the process you are using to attempt the delete, and precisely when it's failing, and the precise message. Chances are, though, that it's not that the files are locked, but that the permissions are preventing you from proceeding.

P.S. DLL=Windows-ese. On the Mac, we call them Shared Libraries.
