This is what's going to happen with Iraq:

* If Bush wins, he's going to pull the troops out and let civil war resolve itself (despite claims that he wouldn't pull out. Some bullsh*t story no doubt.)
* If Bush loses, and Kerry pulls out, he'll blame Kerry for civil unrest and run again under the idea that he would've never pulled the troops out in the first place.

My computer predictions have been dead on, let's see how my political predictions are.

For some reason when you said "yummy oil" it made me want
chocolate.

Ah, the road to "liberation" is a bumpy, explosive, shrapnel filled one. I recall Kerry saying in the first debate how our troops are ill equiped. Humvees not having proper armor and so forth. WTF was the $80 billion dollars for anyways?!? "Mission accomplished" my @ss.

I think:
Bush will not pull out if at all possible. It would show the "unilateral thing" to be a failure and basically show us to be a paper tiger. He'll stick with it until he would leave office a second time. Remember, if he's elected again that's it .. no chance for re-election for a 3rd term so he'll be free to do whatever the heck he wants ... even if it becomes wildly unpopular.

My prediction:
We've already lost 1100 troops + 7800 wounded. My prediction is that the Iraq War will cost more US lives than 9/11 did before its all said and done.
