I saw some people talking about Panther beta so i was wondering if you guys are running it aside of Jaguar or are you only running Panther on your machine.

I tried running Panther 7B74 but had to go back to jag due to various strange behaviours in apps. It feels like strange though going back to Jag. Panther was faster, cleaner, much better looking, and just overall amazing. Still, I needed certain things to work, and the small niggling things in panther prevented me from using it full time.

can't wait till it's released, and all the apps updated for it.
Rockstar Games - better than reality.

Panther7B80 on both my work machine and my laptop. My bar-terminal (don't ask) is running 7B74 and so is my friend (and housemate) whom I sold my previous G4 to.

I installed 7B80 on a separate partition. I like it so far (nay, I love it ) but Jaguar is still my main OS for now.

I will be running Panther exclusively once it is finally released. I'll be one of the first to get it, that's for sure.

I have tested Panther on a partion on several computers (most versions up to 7B8x). There are still some bugs - mostly with networking. Network shares still do not show up on the desktop (on the computers I tested with our network). Acctually, except for expose, I see no problem with Jaguar. I just wish they would fix the bugs in Jaguar before making us pay for a Panther.
Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?

Been running Panther-only since WWDC. Being in the Tech Support field, I like to know as much as I can about new versions of the OS. It's a benefit to my job security being the most knowledgeable on our team about OS X and Macs in general ...

Yeah, we have a bar at home, and I've embedded an old PC-monitor in it, connected it to my TiBook 500 with a broken screen and we are running audio and video of it, as well as using iSight on it as a webcam (see sig).

Truly, Jaguar was a great OS and still is. I tried a Dual G5 yesturday, and I was simply amazed. It was completely crazy.

Wonder what its gonna be like with panther!

Been running Panther on my iBook since the day we were handed it at WWDC. Backed up onto my iPod and installed Panther during the OS X State of the Union.
