I gave it a try just now. Rendering seems fast. Plenty of functions. GUI looks like a themed fink-x11 app and feels like a windows app. A bit slow on my machine in terms of scrolling. (I need a new Mac) Going back to Safari for now. Nice to see Opera for Mac catching up with the Windows version. Now it only need to catch up becoming a Mac application.

I used it. Liked it even except I despise the download manager (I want to option click a link and it automatically puts it in the download manger regardless if the server has responded instead of holding up a page) and other small details. As of now, Safari as my main browser and iCab as my browser for other tasks.

Over Safari, searching bookmarks. This is one of the worst things about Safari right now.

well, except for the fact that it actually IS the fastest browser out there, the OS X-version is ugly and bloated..

Go Camino!

edit: BUT, the Windows version is excellent, and I use it on my work-machine.

Opera 7.51 is out. I'm using right now to type this post. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised. It definitely has some cool features to it and it is fast. On dial-up I can really tell the difference between Opera and OmniWeb. Depending on the sites, it's even faster than Safari. The downside is that the user interface is horrid looking. It does feel like I'm back to using Windows! For now, I'll continue to use it as a backup. Unfortunately, it will be a distant second or third place behind OmniWeb and Safari.
