The good news... I have sucessfully used Boot Camp to install Windows XP on a partition on my Mac Mini. The bad news... I formatted the drive in FAT32, and I don't want other users of the computer accidentally screwing it up from the Mac side when the drive is mounted.

Is there any way to set the XP partition to NOT mount automatically when the system is started in OS X? I can manually mount it if I need to, but I don't want it sitting on the desktop in OS X.

I had a similar problem using Ubuntu Linux on my Mac. It went away when I moved the (UnixFS) from a partition to another internal hard drive. No idea why this worked, but I'm happy it did.
