I had high expectations for this set and it's not left me disappointed at all.
Apple's GUI design team should take a look at this for inspiration.

They are indeed such stunning icons, my favourite has to be My Documents and the Network icon. The whole set is so nice.
Im wondering if sascha has a quarry/desert in his back yard or something? images look familiar for the picture icons. and its always sunny there!

The set looks fantastic, and certainly worth the wait.
One question though... what's with the nasty bitmapped/pixelated icons for the toolbars? They look like crapola when set to be larger than 32x32? I realize that they'll look fine in the toolbar, but what about using them as regular folder icons if we want?

They are really amazing !! 
In fact they are the most beautiful system replacement set i've ever seen.
